More about Marney
Marney was a registered nurse, registered intensive care nurse, and registered midwife before starting medical training. She still enjoys working with pregnant women, mums and bubs. She did her general nursing training in Scotland, then worked in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. In Scotland she became interested in Scottish Country Dancing, and eventually qualified to become a teacher in it.
Even before nursing, she did an Arts degree majoring in French and history, and still enjoys going to French movies and travelling when she can – although that is often to dancing events!
