Communicating with the Practice

Email

The use of email is intended primarily for practice-related purposes including for staff to communicate with each other and with external individuals and organizations relevant to the work and services of our practice.

Email is not a secure method of sending information and under no circumstances should be used to send information which is highly confidential or sensitive including patient health or other information unless adequately encrypted and using the appropriate software.

We don’t provide any consulting or advisory services by e-mail.

Social media

We don’t use social media to connect and communicate with patients and other health professionals and services.

Telephone Calls

We aim to provide timely advice or information to patients via the telephone. Urgent medical problems will always be dealt with promptly. If the doctor is consulting, a message may be left and the call will be returned when possible.
